“Vague Generalities Has Failed the People of South Sudan”, Kiir is a “Useful Idiot”

Sept 19th, 2019(SSNN) — Calling spade a spade, an advisor on peacekeeping, mediation, international sanctions and PoC, Klem Ryan has dropped a honest criticism that is usually spoken behind “closed-doors” on his twitter account and urges his critics to admit that South Sudan’s struggling president is an idiot, who is being protected by regional leaders for their selfish interests.
Dr. Ryan was disappointed after president Salva Kiir gave a barely incomprehensible speech in Khartoum, Sudan, and concluded that Kiir is not a political genius but a useful idiot who is killing hundreds of thousands of his people and warrants corruption of billions of dollars.

Responding to his critics, who believe that calling a president an idiot was not diplomatic enough, the Former Coordinator of the Security Council Panel of Experts for South Sudan, reiterates that this is what the conventional diplomacy is lacking to save countries like South Sudan from man-made catastrophes.
According to Dr. Ryan, “vagues generalities” that blame both sides of the conflict have failed the people of South Sudan and that need a genuine approach to save such countries from collapsing.

This will not be the first time South Sudan president receives such criticisms, he was publicly called out as a “stupid” leader by the Executive Secretary of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), HE Amb. (Eng.) Mahboub Maalim in 2014.
The South Sudan President has been openly criticised by the US leaders including the former US ambassador to the United Nations, Amb. Nikki Haley, who blames the crises on President Kiir.
Before she resigns, Amb. Nikki successfully mobilized the UN Security Council to impose arms embargoes and sanctions on South Sudan.
