The Terms of Use provided in here describe the terms and conditions that govern your use of the current and future online contents, networks, products, services, platforms, websites and applications owned or operated by South Sudan News Now, Inc. (“SSNN”) that include, but not limited to, ssnewsnow.com and/or its affiliates, which for purpose of referencing will collectively be referred as “The Site or Sites”. Without limitation you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use when you visit our Sites and/or consume our services in print or through our digital network.

RULES AND DEFINITIONS

1.-If you opt-in to use SSNN digital products, services and features that include but not limited to RSS feeds, APIs, downloads and software you are agreeing to comply with these terms and conditions, and any violations to the terms of this agreement between you and SSNN will be deemed as a breach that may lead to further action(s).

2.-The management and policy experts of SSNN may change, remove, add or edit portions of these Terms of Services at any time without consultation; however, you may be notified of changes (if significant) in writing through email or by updating the date above which shall be indicated as “Last Updated On ….”. Such changes shall come into effect immediately or as soon as such changes are “saved” on this page or “posted”. It is therefore your obligatory duty to check when these terms were last updated every time you visit this Site before you carry out any other activity on ssnewsnow.com and/or any of its affiliates that are governed by these terms and conditions.

3.-If for whatever reason you do not agree with these terms and conditions or any future update or addition to these terms of use, you may:

a). Cancel your account or contact us to unsubscribe you if you are unable to do so.
b). Discontinue your use of any of our services in your possession, see termination policy for more.
c). Do nothing. If you choose to “do nothing” after we have updated our terms of services, your continued use of our services automatically entails that you agree to our terms and conditions, and for such you are expected to fully abide by them.

4.-Being subjected to reasonable advertisement is one condition to accessing our Services including, but not limited to text, photographs, images, illustrations, designs, audio clips, video clips, “look and feel,” metadata, data, or compilations, all also known as the “Content“.

6.-SSNN management may suspend, change or discontinue any of our services at our discretion at any time which include, but not limited, to availability of features, database or content. Nonetheless, SSNN may impose restrictions and/or limits on certain features and/or access to certain services with or without notice or consultation.

7.-All the contents generated by the SSNN and partners, and provided through this Site and/or affiliates, are intended for personal, noncommercial consumption. These materials are protected by copyright, and owned by South Sudan News Now limited or by the party credited as the provider of the Content. Therefore, by agreeing to our terms, you are agreeing to abide and comply by all additional copyright restrictions contained in any content accessed through the Sites. SUBMISSION OF USER GENERATED CONTENT

1.-Any content or services submitted for public consumption in form of a written material, audio, video and/or game must meet SSNN terms of use and copyrights. It is the responsibility of the person submitting services or content to ensure that he or she has all the necessary legal rights to upload, post or submit such content and it will not violate any law or the rights of any person(s), group(s) or institution(s).

2.-You shall not distribute, share, publish or upload any content or services that are defamatory, pornographic, abusive, obscene or otherwise illegal.

3.-You shall not impersonate anyone else or otherwise misrepresent your identity, affiliation or status.

4.-You shall not deprive or defraud other users by uploading misleading information or by distributing or otherwise publishing and sharing malicious content that may carry malware, viruses, spyware, or other malicious software or files to the SSNN and/or its affiliates. You shall not use pirated means to download or upload to and/or distribute or otherwise publish any content and services.

5.-Be respective and mindful that you shall not threaten or verbally abuse other users and/or service providers nor at any time would you use defamatory language deliberately to disrupt social interaction, debates and others public discussion on our Sites including on our social media network. Having read this far you are hereby agreeing that you shall comply with our terms and conditions.

6.-No discrimination. You shall not use language(s) or slures that abuses or discriminates individual(s), group(s) or institution(s) on the basis of region, tribes, religion, gender orientation, disability, nationality or race. Hate speech of any form shall not be tolerated.

7.-If you debate, attack ideas not person(s). A diverse society flourishes on diversity of its opinion and freedom of expression. People disagree to agree, let others have their say. SSNN encourages hot debates on topics of public interests to our readers. We welcome heated debate on ideas, however, be mindful that ad hominem (“personal attacks”) are violations of these terms and condition and may lead to immediate suspension.

8.-You shall not distribute, publish or share our services or content without a written approval for all commercial purposes that include, but not limited to, solicitation with intent to raise funds, advertise or solicit for goods or services.

9.-You agree that any submission you extend to us in any form may be edited, modified, removed, transmitted, shared or published by the SSNN team(s) without further consultation. Any material extended to us by the owner or agent of the owner may be shared through our RSS feeds or APIs and made available through our blogs, social media, Sites and other outlets.

10.-You acknowledge and agree that you are responsible for the content of your submission and you shall take full responsibility to shoulder consequences arising from violations or inconveniences related to your submission. Due to limited time and resources, SSNN cannot fully review every submission and is not responsible for content submitted by a third party. Should any need be, the affected party may contact the source or author of such content to resolve issues arising from such content or otherwise they shall submit their rebuttal for further consideration and publishing.

11.-SSNN reserves the right to delete, withdraw, recall, move or edit Submissions or services that it deems abusive, obsolete, defamatory, obscene, in violation of copyright and/or trademark laws, in violation of these Terms of Use or otherwise deems unacceptable. These actions shall be taken with or without further consultation with the third parties.

12.-By submitting your Services, products or digital content, you are consenting to its display and publication on our networks. Such submissions may be used in our Services and related online and offline advertisement or promotional use.

THIRD-PARTY CONTENT AND LINKS TO THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES.

The Services contain links to third-party websites, resources, and advertisers (collectively, “Linked Content”). SSNN does not control, endorse, sponsor, recommend or otherwise accept responsibility for any of this Linked Content. Because we are not responsible for the availability of these outside resources, or their contents or privacy practices, you should direct any concerns regarding any Linked Content to such site.

TRADEMARK.

SSNN its parent, subsidiaries and affiliates, own all rights to their logos and trademarks used in connection with the Site. All other logos and trademarks appearing on the Site are the property of their respective owners.

TERMINATION OF USER AGREEMENT

Should you choose to, you may unsubscribe or terminate your account anywhere at any time, contact us if you need help to terminate your account. Upon termination, you will receive an automated confirmation via e-mail that the cancellation was processed, and your access will be suspended within 48 hours. If you choose to unscribe without contacting us, you may no longer receive emails from us but some of your data may remain in the cache memory of platforms that used your data in the past.

SSNN may, in its sole discretion, terminate or suspend your access to all or part of the Services for any reason, including, without limitation, breach or assignment of these Terms of Service.

Termination of These Terms of Use

SSNN may terminate or suspend these Terms of Use at any time without notice to you. Without limiting the foregoing, SSNN shall have the right to immediately terminate Your Account in the event of any conduct by you which SSNN, in its sole discretion, considers to be unacceptable, or in the event of any breach by you of these Terms of Use. The provisions of Sections 1 – 13 shall survive termination of these Terms of Use.
