Nov 11th, 2019 (SSNN)-The announced forthcoming visit of Nigerian self-proclaimed Prophet Temitope Balogune Joshua popularly known as T.B Joshua, has evoked mixed reactions among the South Sudanese citizens on social media.

On Monday, the South Sudanese government announced that the renowned Nigerian pastor, T.B. Joshua would visit South Sudan and organize prayers at the State House with South Sudan leaders.

Yes, he’s coming tomorrow to hold prayers for peace. He’s coming to pray for the leaders,” South Sudan’s Presidential Press Secretary Ateny Wek Ateny was quoted by Radio Tamazuj as saying.

Citizens’ reactions to the upcoming visit of the self-proclaimed Prophet:

“The conman is coming to drain the little in the pockets. I wish the J1 warlords don’t get excited and pay him with oil fields for his false prophecy that he will deliver,” said a Facebook user identified as Alier Ngong.

“This Man of God has sponsored more them one thousand Orphans in his school in Gudele, if you know Stone International Church in Gudele Maraba 6, go there and witness by yourself the work he did for this Nation since the crisis started,” said Atak Santino.

“Someone should remind him to deliver Nigeria from Boko Haram first before coming to S. Sudan,” Bior Bol replied.

“Do they want another synagogue to collapse inward here in this country? TB Joshua is a personality known for religious conspiracies across Africa, and his coming to Juba is unforgiving mistake. The word “Prophet” doesn’t exist in today’s gospel teachings. And those proclaim themselves to be prophets are cheaters; and they carry satanic marks on their foreheads. Attend his teaching at your risk,” said Simon Mabil.

“We don’t have any spiritual problems. Our problems are not connected to evil spirit. We don’t need prayers from Josua or who ever claims to be near to the almighty Allah. Our problems are political and tribal problems that only political solution can solve. If our leaders can not obey the prayers of the three most powerful men of God in Vatican who is Joshua. I am not trying to look down on any one. But we should know no amount of prayers can change our state. Our leaders have lost all sense of humanity and so prayers cannot be the alternative but rather eviction,” said a Facebook user identified as L. Technocat.

“This government is trying to bribe everyone under the sun for the people South Sudan to believe that they are very innocent of all crimes not paying the civil servants for rape for corruption for killings of civilians for causing the worst humanitarian disaster in the country and so on That’s stupid smart TB Joshua will be sharing the blood of the innocent people of south Sudan in his hands,” another citizen wrote.
