The religious leaders asked God to bless peace guarantors and make spiritual efforts to bring peace to South Sudan.

“May the Lord also sustain the efforts of all those in the international community inspired by goodwill to help that afflicted people of South Sudan, despite grave obstacles, the harmony, justice and security that it has long awaited.”

“We see Jesus in the faces of the children and people of South Sudan, wounded and torn by the conflicts that country has experienced in the last six (6) years, and where there have been the problems of natural disaster of floods, with serious humanitarian implications for its people, who suffer from hunger and the spread of diseases.”
