March 17, 2021(SSNN) — The Tanzania’s President, John Pombe Magufuli, has died of heart complications this evening in Dar es Salam, vice President Samia Suluhu Hassan announced on TV.
Speaking on a live broadcast, the Tanzanian Vice President Samia Suluhu Hassan confirmed that President Magufuli died this evening, March 17, 2021 at 6pm.
Hassan confirmed that president Magufuli was hospitalized at the Jakaya Kikwete Cardiac Institute on March 6 and died this evening, Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 6pm.
