Taban says progress being made on Juba-Bahr el-Ghazal highway construction

April 3, 2020 (SSNN) — South Sudan vice-president Taban Deng Gai said on Friday that progress is being made on the construction of Juba-Bahr el-Ghazal highway.
Gai made the comment during a meeting at the state house J1 today with president Salva Kiir Mayardit.
“The President of the Republic, H.E. Salva Kiir Mayardit was briefed by the Vice President for infrastructure cluster, General Taban Deng Gai on the major construction projects taking place in the country,” a statement bythe South Sudan presidency said.
The statement quoted Gai as saying “there is considerable progress on the construction of the greater Bhar el Ghazal Highway, and the Juba International Airport.”
