Nov 2nd, (SSNN)-At least 4,000 Sudanese militiamen have been killed in Saudi-led coalition conflict since the outbreak of violence in Yemen, according to the Houthi’s military spokesman, Yahya Saria.

Speaking to the media in a televised speech, the Houthi movement’s military spokesman urged the Sudanese government not to overlook its people, who have suffered heavy losses in Yemen’s conflict which is not within the range of their country.

“You overlook the number of your soldiers who have been killed while fulfilling tasks of the enemy coalition. There are hostages, as well as those killed and wounded. Changes in Sudan seem incomplete against the backdrop of Sudan’s continued involvement in the coalition’s actions,” Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saria said in a televised address.

The rebel group called on the Sudanese government to withdraw its forces currently fighting alongside Arab and Western countries from Yemeni territory.

Sudan, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, Egypt and Jordan are among members of the Saudi-led coalition intervention in Yemen.
