South Sudan Minister of Finance Demands 4 Million SSP Monthly for “House Service”

May 08, 2020(SSNN) — South Sudan’s new minister of Finance and Planning, Hon. Salvatore Garang Mabiordit, orders for at least 4 million SSP to be paid for his “house service and emergency funds” every month;
According to a leaked document extended to South Sudan News Now, the Minister orders the Undersecretary to put this request in their monthly bills and ensures that this amount is paid out every month without the minister having to request for it;
South Sudan News Now could not verify the source of the document and whether or not this has been the routine in this ministry; however, a few more corruption-related documents have gone viral on social media over the last two days;
