S. Sudan “senior” gov’t official evacuated to a foreign country – sources

May 21, 2020 (SSNN) – A senior South Sudan government official has reportedly been evacuated to an identified country after an alleged health setbacks imposed by the novel coronavirus.

A senior government official at the Juba International Airport told South Sudan News Now (SSNN) that the senior government official has recently been tested positive for coronavirus but said could not provides name.

“This morning, yes a senior government official has been evacuated to a foreign country via a chartered flight,” the official told SSNN on the condition of anonymity.

Another official said he was “sure a big person has been evacuated as result of coronavirus which has affected top senior government officials in our country.”
