South Sudan, a nation that has existed for only 9 years has spent 7 out of 9 years of its independence in a brutal civil war that displaced more refugees than the previous wars.

The intensity of the recent conflicts, according to many experts, goes beyond any other experiences witnessed during the 55 years of war in the old Sudan.

While it is yet to be seen how Salva Kiir leadership will reconcile the populations and restore truth among the refugees, many civilians are making initiatives to return to their previous lives.
