Mark Enei resigns from the ruling SPLM party, Join SPLM-IO

Oct 3, 2020(SSNN) — Mark Enei, a senior member of the ruling party SPLM has decided to quit his party in favour of the opposition party, SPLM/IO under the leadership of Dr. Riek Machar.

In a letter seen by nyamilepedia, Mark Enei joined the opposition together with 48 others in favour of the revitalized peace agreement signed.

“I Mark Anei Mading from Warrap State would like to publicly declare that I have quit my membership from the ruling SPLM party from this day, the 2nd of October 2020 and join SPLM- IO under the leadership of H.E Dr. Riek Machar Teny with other 48 members,” read part of Enei’s resignation letter.

Mark added that it had been long and enough without seeing changes in the ruling party.

“I have observed for a long time hoping that SPLM would adopt changes in regard to rampant corruption, oppression, nepotism and friendly governance practiced by few individuals who took laws into their hands to marginalize others,” Anei added.

He added that he could not tolerat after to men were arrested and detained without justice.

Anei accused the ruling party of neglecting and marginalizing the poor citizens in the rural areas, whose life is still anciently and has got no changes, and are going worse and worse.
