Just in: Government participants discuss possibility of accepting 24+ AAA

February 14, 2020 (SSNN)—Participants at the ongoing consultative meeting in the capital, Juba are discussing the possibility of accepting the proposed 23 states including Abyei Administrative Area, according to several sources at the venue.

“Discussions are ongoing and there are possibilities for the government to accept the 23 states, including the Abyei Administrative region,” said a source who declined to be mentioned.

“We are still waiting for the final results whether they will be pass[ed] or not,” said a South Sudanese journalist, Gore Anthony.

He also confirmed that, “Proposals on Ten States were also put across by the President.”
