The governor warns the local residents to follow the rightful procedures of owning a land as enshrined in the constitution.

Speaking to the men in question, who were perceived as land grabbers, the Acting Secretary General of the state, Hon.Francis Luwala, who represented the state Governor, called on the occupants who were identified as soldiers in the South Sudan People’s defense forces (SSPDF) to protect the image of the army and the nation at large by avoiding getting themselves into issues of land grabbing.

He further reminded them to uphold their code of conduct as stipulated in the SPLA act.

Hon.Francis warns that any attempt to resist the directive to leave the area in question immediately “shall be treated more drastically and decision reached shall be final”.
